rights of way round neighbour's houses

anyone know anything about this? we have right of way through neighbour's garden - anyone had any experience?

We also do. We access our house via a long drive that belongs to next door. Both properties are over 100 years old, and as far as I know there's never been a problem. Although it's technically theirs, we're the only people that use it, so we maintain it. Are you having problems?

not problem as such... they're just being a bit awkward in a polite way and I wanted to know what our rights were

Do your title deeds show the right of way? I'm not sure. I don't think I've ever seen mine, but I'm sure this is the sort of thing they should show.

Is it a right of way to access your house? Or, for some other specific reason?

When you bought your house your solicitor should have done a report about your property. This should deal with right of ways. Check that.

Without more info it is hard to advise any further.

ive got a right of way bizarrely through my hall and into the garden, it was on the deeds, had no ramblers yet
