Is it right, that as ds is on DLA, I should automatically be entitled to rent rebate?

Does anyone know anything about this, we are council tenants?

It's not something I've ever heard of tbh. Ours was a council house until the houses were all transferred to a HA recently and no-one mentioned anything about getting a rent rebate.

Then again, no-one ever does tell you what you are entitled to!

We don't get a rent rebate, but because we have a room that is used for DS and have a wheelchair we get a council tax rebate, its been lowered to the next band (b instead of c)

Yes, I think so.

Also if you get tax credits remember to let the IR know you get DLA and you should get some extra money on top of the usual payments.
