We hid toys, hoover, ironing board & lots more when we had people viewing our house. Our old house had very little storage & we didn't want to highlight the fact by having hoovers in the downstairs toilet etc!

thanks everyone. got our first viewing booked for saturday!

our estate agent told us to get rid of the high chair in the kitchen, the stair gate and generally "de - child". I boxed up all the toys and put them under the bed.

what is your house like?
i am looking to move!

fisil · 05/04/2006 19:26

How old is your child? We looked round one recently in which an over made up teenage girl stared at us all round the house. I wish they'd sent her out. Their house was a complete tip too - like crusts of old bread lying around in bedrooms and stuff like that. Wonder if they've sold it yet ...

AllieBongo · 07/04/2006 18:03

it's a 1950's semi. 3 bed, lounge, dining room, kitchen, bathroom upstairs, downstairs loo and utility, study/playroom. Gorgeous long garden that backs onto fields. In a nice village with a fantasic school. bargain at £207,950. Double glazed and renovated to perfection..why am I moving???

OOhh Well Done! we are trying to sell our house and its been on for a week so i am hoping that we can sell soon too....we have cleared the toys out too! Although all this incessant tidying and fluffing pillows just incase someone comes round unexpectedly is a bit of a bore!

AllieBongo · 14/04/2006 11:06

i know what you mean. we lost the house we wanted by a day.. the old bag couldn't wait. I'm so cross. Now there is nothing on the market we like (that we can afford!) fingers crossed for you Wink
