I don't have two wills and I'm a dual national now.

My only residence is in the UK, so my will is Scottish.

Yes, I think that's the key - if you have residences in 2 countries, then you need 2 wills.

Not necessarily. A good solicitor will know. My dad is also a dual national and has only one will.

I think you can have just one will but you should take advice on inheritance tax/estate duty issues. You don't want to be taxed in one country and then when the proceeds are remitted to the other country, taxed in the other country again ie double whammy.

I will probably have 2 wills, just to keep the 2 sets of tax authorities apart, but that might not be strictly kosher!
