can you transfer anything else to these other than existing credit cards? Like loans or overdrafts?

Some allow you to make a transfer into your bank account (and you could then use that to pay off a loan) - check out moneysavingexpert.com, they always have a section with the best deals.

All of them will have an arrangement fee, typically 2.5 - 3.5%, but if you can afford to repay in the 0% timescale that will almost certainly be cheaper than your loan/overdraft.

Be very careful - If you then haven't repaid at the end of the deal, the rate will rocket and there is no guarantee you will be able to get another 0% deal elsewhere.

If you have a lot of loans, overdrafts and outstanding credit card balances do consider talking to one of the free debt advice services such as CAB, CCCS or National Debtline. Consolidation is often a good solution but, as pointed out above, there are costs attached and you have to be extremely disciplined to keep up with payments, not run up any extra debts and pay off balances before special rates expire.
