Anyone know what we can do. We are being literally being bombarded by dp's ex in laws, not only mil, but sil and 2 x bil's. They are texting, leaving voicemails and e mails. Thinking that perhaps we can get some sort of harrassment order? Is this possible?

report the nuisance calls to your phone company, they mobile companies come down pretty hard on nuisance callers.

Really need some sort of legal thing to stop them e mailing etc although I guess we could block their adds. Legal is the only way to stop them I think!

call the police station. they can tell you if you can prosecute, and if not they may be willing to go round and warn them off anyway

Ok have had this with my ex though it was my ex himself and his new gf,i called the police and they passed it onto the domestic abuse team because it was harrassment from an ex partner it was classed as a form of domestic abuse.
Call the police ,call the phone company, can you have your numbers changed? you can also get there email addy blocked and their phone number blocked from coming through on your line.
But definatley contact the police as it is harrassment.I was told they would document that time and if i needed nay help or got any more to get back in touch and they would sort a harrassment order.
For what its worth,i changed all my numbers, house and mobile, changed my email addy and they gave up,but realise of course this isnt suitable or possible for everybody.

Thanks for the replies. We have loads of abusive e mails and letters so I think the police is the next step. Thanks everyone.

If you have Outlook you can add the email addresses to the junk senders list. I think it's in tools.
