Read this article on Action Fraud about the number of shopping days until Christmas and the fact that fraudsters are on the prowl more than ever at this time of year. I think it's well worth a read to make sure we don't become a fraud victim somehow and end up with disappointed families if presents don't arrive..

slightly different fraud but I was amazed at the number of people there are now on westminister bridge doing the three cups trick. The police were nearby in Westminister tube, but don't seem to do anything about it. Saw a Japanese girl pulling out two £50s to play, and lose it, absolutely gutted for her. She was clearly on holiday, was pulling the money out of an envelope. It was min of £20 play, and the hawkers were raking it in.

I think that falls into the 'one born every minute' class hopstheduck. :) The one I'm fed up with is the e-mail phishing exercise.... 'Your (insert bank you've never had an account with) account has been compromised, please log in and confirm your security details'. Oh yes... I'm going to do that...

And if I get one more phone-call or text telling me I could claim back thousands that I've paid in PPI I will scream. "Our records show" claimed on confident caller recently "that you could claim £5400". As I've never had PPI on anything, I know it's a big fat lie.
