Quick question about invoice/tax deductible expense

For ages I have been procrastinating about replacing my laptop.

When I MN work from home, I work at the desktop (which is actually my husband's) and he gets fed up with me hogging it, particularly if I'm working in the evenings on a deadline.

Last night he told me he'd got fed up of me waiting to sort myself out, and bought me a laptop Grin.

Now the thing is, I get 40% tax relief on these sorts of one-off purchases for work. In this case the 40% is not an insubstantial amount of money.

Do I still get to offset the tax even though the invoice is in DH's name and he paid? Obviously I'll pay him back from my business account.

Posting here because don't want to incur an advice fee from my accountant Wink.
