hiya, hope he's finally coming to his senses amanda (fingers crossed).

if you arent married then you cant put his name on the birth cert anyway unless he is with you. BUT even if his name isnt on the birth cert the csa will still chase him. they will assume he is the father unless a dna test proved he wasnt. (in effect, guilty until proven innocent!). they arent very good though

but anyway, lets hope it doesnt come to that now, wishing you all the best xx

I agree that you are better off without him. Change your telephone number/s, etc., and block all contact from him. Then all you have to do is send him a birth announcement at the appropriate time.

Hope your pregnancy is as stress-free as possible.

Amanda1 I think it would be very sad for your baby to have "father unknown" on her birth certificate. I don't really have an answer for you but that is a very permanent step that may affect your daughter later in life.
