Would a company I owe money to treat me the same as they would the 'CAB' ringing?

Sorry what I mean is, I know that if I go to the citizens advice they will ring my creditors on my behalf and try to sort out a payment plan.

I spoke to them (creditors) yesterday and they said I can speak to them myself.

But am wondering if they will treat me the same, give me all my options or the best way to help me. I assume the CAB know the 'rules' anyways and will be able to sort the best thing for me, but it sounds like it will be a long wait with them.

I have a little experience of this from a charity I used to work at. The general impression we got was that creditors take the CAB seriously because the CAB know the law and consumer rights.

I would strongly advise you use the CAB. They know far more than you about how to deal with creditors.
