Savings accounts when you've used up your ISA allowance?

This year, we're in the really lucky position of having used up our ISA allowances. We need to find a savings account to pay into by direct debit each month, with a reasonable rate of interest (if that exists any more) - don't mind locking it away for a year, but not much longer than that as may move house within the next 2 years. Any suggestions?

Have a look on moneysupermarket.com they give a good selection. Also are you a non tax player? If so you can sign a form saying you need not have the tax deducted from your interest and your interest will be paid tax free.

I got lucky and Skipton were offering 2.6%, alas they are not doing that now.
If you can lock it away for at least 12 months, the at 1 year Bonds - though it will depend on the amount you have initially to invest.
