Glad you like the book, Andirobo -- it's one of my faves

I've nearly finished mine despite having a house full of sick kids (in fact I must admit to sneaking in a few pages while chicken-poxy DS1 was crashed out on the sofa watching Ice Age ). I'm enjoying it although it's very much of its time (will discuss more on the book's own thread so I don't spoil it for anyone!).

When are we supposed to be posting on?

Not a problem - we have had a christmas parcel go astray so it suddenly occurred to me I should check!

I think we should be posting next week. I'm ready now......how is everyone else doing?

I'm ready but have been stuck indoors with poxy kids. Should be fine to get to PO next week.

Eachpeach - have you just posted something to me, as dp has a parcel to collect from PO tomorrow, which I thought may be from you?

I have nearly finished my book - it is good but different. Not sure what comments I will write about it!

I am planning to post to you tomorrow Andirobo, assuming the queue in the post office isn't too scary (have written all my Christmas cards today so going to have to face the PO sometime...)

I liked one much better than the other. Would be interested to see what you think, especially since I always really like your books

Posted today Meg - there are 2 books, your book from the last circle (which I didn't get around to reading, sorry!) and the book for December.

Oops! December's book plopped on the mat at the weekend (thanks Jas), reminding me I had totally forgotten about Nov's. Anyway I had a speed read of it over the last couple of days and will get it off to you tomorrow, bookswapper.

I think we should pretend December didn't happen, and try and get the book-posting in some kind of order for January.

I'm guessing due to lack of posting n here that not much has happened......do we all have a book to send? (I don't)?

.....and it arrived this morning, bookswapper, thanks - despite the 5 inches of snow and minus 8 degrees temperatures here! Fab service or what? Unfortunately, I think that I will hate it - have tried one of his before, like Marmite he is (although I love Marmite!)
Currently loving The White Queen - Philippa Gregory, will stick with that I think

I have finished Yogabird's book

But no way of getting to the PO until the ice has cleared, which could be another week or two yet! Will post it on soon as I can.

I've got about 1/4 left to go, then I will post on, I promise. Things are a bit weirdy here atm so it might take me a few days to get my head straight enough to read.
