Received both books Jas, many thanks! Bookswapper, I finally posted today-- sorry for the delay, especially as it's a bit of an epic! I found it quite a quick read though.

Finally named ds last week with just minutes to spare before the deadline (we get three weeks in Scotland before they come after you) and guess what? He's named after a character in one of the book swap books!

No, not (now) Bernard! It's Winston (another tenant at Queenie's house). DH and I were congratulating ourselves on our originality and now I've just discovered Billie Piper had a Winston only a couple of days later.

OOh, I have a lovely neighbor called Winston A good name.
