I got a spare this month from AndyRobo- so spooky- I opened it when I got back from holiday.... and I that was the only title I had actually managed to read on holiday!!!!
So at least I'll be ready to forward it on

I chose it because the daughter in the book has the same name as my dd, though I sincerely hope her life takes a very different turn...

I shall put 'andyrobo book 2' in the front in pencil.

EachPeachPearMum - glad you got the book! Sorry you had read it - what did you think?? I have read some reviews on here (not from this circle) and felt the comments were harsh - but maybe I just 'read' the books not analyse the way they are written, etc or maybe it is because I read them before I go to bed!!!

I quite liked it... though its hard to say enjoyed, due to the content IYSWIM.

I thought there were many interesting characters, and I actually work in a related area, which is interesting for me, and in reality the situations are not too far-fetched.

One thing was not resolved though- about midway through, the girl says she was 'given a pill by the captain (of the boat from central america) and woke up on someone's couch in Galveston, Texas' -what exactly happened there? Are we meant to think she was abused at that age too, or that it was simply to help her get through the journey which was making her ill?

thanks bookswapper, am going off on hols tomorrow night, if it arrives i have the dilemma - ditch one from my case or not... have still not posted mine, dh was instructed to but it was the fourth thing on his list and once he gets to 3...., dd disappointed cos he forgot choc to melt and make ladybirds too. Better send him out tomorrow while we are theme-parking before the main school hols start

I'm struggling to keep an interest in my book this month.

I'm away next week and will have another go, so will post it on regardless of if I finish or not early next week.
