Right so I only have four addresses so far. These are from;

Ok so can everyone else that wants to join in please send me your addresses ASAP as I was hoping to organise it tomorrow evening and then Tuesday/Wednesday we do deliveries.

Things I need as well as address

• Initials of book title and author
• Any allergy or chocolate/treats preference

As I have mentioned in the last thread I will be setting up a monthly sign in thread that everyone needs to post in before the books get sent on. Don't worry, I will remind you if you forget.

I think the general consensus was that we would be having as little censorship as possible so you can send pretty much anything you want apart from abuse memoirs which can be very triggering/upsetting for some people.

A reminder of how it will work:

• I collect all addresses and other info
• I give everyone one person/address to send your own book to.
• About 3 and 1/2 weeks later I will open up the sign in thread for you to respond to.
• Couple of days later if all goes well and we haven't lost anyone we will send the book we received onto your allocated person/address.
• If we lose people along the way then I will give you direction on where to send books to.
• When sending books on we will also send a small amount of chocolate or other requested treat up to a value of £2.50
• We can then set up threads for each book and discuss them.

Okay, sorry for the long post. I just wanted to collate all of the ideas into one. So let's get the addresses in and we can start the fun!

It sounds really good! Does it work well? I love my book collection and I'd be worried I'd send one off and not get it back!

Laura I haven't got a book back yet, so don't send anything precious. Charity shop is fine

I wouldn't send anything I'm precious about getting back. I sent a book I enjoyed and wanted others to enjoy but I could replace it if I wanted.

@JorlyWood, are we ready to send our books on again?

Hi yeah let's send on. It has been a while. I will double check who everyone is to send onto after the middle up last month and send you all a message this evening.

I've lost my notebook with all the addresses and order and who has read what in. Shall we call it a day and just try returning books to their owners. I haven't had the time to even read my book this turn.

How many more do we have to go? I did enjoy the last book but can understand if you want to stop.

If people want we can stop this one. I will set up a new thread and start a fresh one. If everyone says the book they have the owner can pm an address to send it to so it gets home. Are people happy with this?

Thanks for understanding. Yeah that sounds like a good idea mail. I have lost the book somewhere in my cluttered house. It hasn't left the house so when I find it which will only be a matter of time I will shred everyone's names and addresses.

It was called The Irresistible Inheritance of Wilberforce by Paul Torday.

The book 'Elizabeth is Missing' is mine, but I deliberately bought a spare copy so please feel free to keep it.

The book that I have is 'The Keeper of Lost Things' by Ruth Hogan. I think this was one of the new ones dropped into the mix at a later stage...?

@oxcat The Keeper of Lost Things is mine. Yes, it was dropped in at a later stage and the reason I sent that book was because I really, really couldn't get into it but thought someone else might like it...so I don't mind if I don't get it back. Feel free to keep it if you enjoyed it, or pass it on to friends/charity shop. I personally don't think it's worth the £2.80 postage to send it back to me.

No one has mentioned my book yet so I guess it's dropped into a black hole. I don't mind so much but it's a reminder not to sent books you care about!
