Hi all

I was also under the impression that we were posting on in the first week or two of March.

Did anything come of starting new threads to talk about the books? It did occur to me that there might not be too much discussion if we started new threads, since we will only have a new person to discuss with after a month or so, so it might be better to just add to this thread???

By the way, thoroughly enjoyed the book that was posted to me.

Hi everyone, I hope you are all enjoying reading your books.

Sorry to be so long between posts, but my 3 week old and I are still trying to come to an agreement about some time when I can do things like check my email and MN!!

It would be great if we could all try to post our books on to the next person in the next few days (around the 14th of each month should work ok). Don't worry if it doesn't go on that day each time, just try not to be too late as the next person will have less time to read.

Since some threads have been started for individual books, it seems sensible to do that with all of them - it will take a while to get them going, but there is no reason why we can't look in on other threads as we go along too.

How is everyone doing? Unfortunately I have overestimated the amount of free time I would have with two children to deal with! Baby Theo is feeding every two hours day and night at the moment. Hopefully that won't last too long!

There don't appear to be too many posts this month - has everyone got something to read?

Enjoy the sun while it lasts :)

I've read, reviewed and sent on the two books that I've received so far - hope they've arrived OK, irishqueen. Thanks for letting me know another one will be on its way soon, chocoholic.

No sign of my next book from Discotext yet. I think everyone just lost April somewhere!!

Toni you have my sympathies. I remember that stage so well. Probably why I still only have one!

Sorry for the delay on the last 2 Linzer, one of them too me ages to get through (I'm one of those people that ploughs on through a book even if I'm hating it).
Not sure how many more we have to go. Am bookless at the moment.
Anyone keeping track?

No problem glitch, I've had plenty of other books to keep me going in the meantime. Smile Am quite glad of the interruption now though, as I'm been ploughing through Wolf Hall for ages...

I think I've had six books now, so there must be around five still to go. However, the first three books I sent on are still with IrishQueen AFAIK, unless she's sent them on to you in the meantime WhoKnows?

No, no sign of them. So far I have had one from IQ right at the start and three from you Linzer. We should be about halfway through as we started in Feb.

The book is on its way, WhoKnows. I got DH to take it to the post office for me, and he's just phoned to say it cost ?13.40 to send Shock - it would have been cheaper to have ordered a copy for you from Amazon! The problem is that the postal rates have just changed and we now pay by size rather than weight, so it costs 2-3 times what it used to to send a parcel.

Anyway, I'll make a start on the other book straight away so that I can bring it over to London with me next month - either to give to you if we meet or otherwise I'll post it to you from there.
