I've got three books, July, aug and sept and ds is due sept 8th so think I'm gonna send julys on otherwise I really will be holding things up.

Well I was rubbish at not reading last month's book and I am being very slow with this one. I am hoping to send it on by the end of next week - sorry. I think I post to majorpettigrew - not sure if you have name changed.

A very uneventful summer holidays for me - apart from getting a kitten and a puppy we've not done much at all however I am looking forward to the DC's going back to school on Monday.

Wow. Nothing for weeks, then 3 of us up early in the morning together!! Like buses.....

Start a new job tomorrow am and ds1 starts school next week - all new beginnings. Have really enjoyed a relaxing summer but it has gone too quickly.

So quiet you've dropped off my "Threads I'm on" list - had to do a search! I have posted, but a little late, so am relieved to see chickflit says that's ok!!

I thought that I shouldn't be expecting anything - don't worry PA, I am going to start a new book (actually the David Mitchell MN book club one) which is v. long so will take a breather from the book swap ones until I get the next one PA - even if it's at the end of the month that will be fine.

I'm guessing you all must know something I don't about lovebeing's new arrival - so I will say congrats too and wait to hear more - hope all is ok?

I am up stupid-late because DH is away and I always end up mning til 1am when he's not here - and then can't cope with the DC the next day. At least it's Sunday tomorrow, not a weekday!

I am on mn slightly less because I'm vowing not to look at it at work - my job means what I don't get done at work has to be done at home, so the hour or two I might have spent at work mn-ing will have to go - new term, new resolutions.

Excellent resolution JJ I'm not on here as much anymore too because like you, if I don't get work done during the day then I have to do it on a night when the DC's are in bed, plus I think MN has got a bit pants lately so that's helping.

Lovebeing had her lovely baby earlier this week, she's got a picture of him on FB.

I'm going to try that David Mitchell book too, am reading another MN Book Club book at the moment. I've just finished a book I really enjoyed The Passage by Justin Cronin, not my normal cup of tea but I'd seen it recommended on here. It was really good and if you see it give it a go.

Have you had the book yet chickflit - I sent it over a week ago?

I think Love being has the September book from her, then ,yes, it is coming direct to me. I am expecting 3 books (August's, September's and an extra).
