Hi,
Does anyone have more poems or phrases for miscarriage?- I read the one posted by annainmanchester, cried buckets, then felt a lot better. I had a mc in March, and don't yet know how to cope. Poetry may help.
Thanks

Does Anyone Have Any Poems About Miscarriage??

i have a poem about miscarriage

They say that times a great healer,
But i dont think thats true.
My hearts been aching so so much,
Since the day i lost you.

I had to say goodbye,
Before i could say hello,
I wish i could of told you,
How much i loved you so.

You mean more to me than anything,
Even though we never met,
Mummy loves her precious baby,
& I promise that i wont forget.

Your my brighly shining star
& In my heart you'll stay
Dont be sad little man
Because mummy knows we we'll meet someday.

To The Child I'll Never Know

how can i say goodbye, when i never said hello?why dose my heart grieve for the child i'll never know?
you were part of me for just a little while, i grieve because i'll never see the magic in your smile.
i grieve for all the unsaid words that you will never say, i grieve that i will never see you happily at play.
i grieve for all the lullabies that will remain unsung, i grieve because i'll never see your face gleaming like the sun.
i grieve because you will never know the comfort of my touch, i grieve because you will never know that you were wanted and loved so much.
i grieve for all the tomorrows that will never be, i grieve because god chose to take you back from me.
you live among the angels now, your earthly mission done, you are so loved and dearly missed, good-bye my little one.

Fly Away.

fly away my angel
spread your wings and fly
take the beauty of your soul
and share it with the sky
take the warmthwithin your heart
and put the sun to shame
the glow of summers sun light
will never be the same.

Somebody sent me this one when I lost my baby at 22 weeks nearly a year ago. It gets me every time.....

The world may never notice
If a Snowdrop doesn't bloom,
Or even pause to wonder
If the petals fall too soon.
But every life that ever forms,
Or ever comes to be,
Touches the world in some small way
For all eternity.

The little one we longed for
Was swiftly here and gone.
But the love that was then planted
Is a light that still shines on.
And though our arms are empty,
Our hearts know what to do.
Every beating of our hearts
Says that we do love you.

I wrote this... wow, has it really been 7 years?

My butterfly baby flew away,
Flew far away from me.
She fluttered with velvety gentleness
Which my eyes were too filled to see.
My butterfly baby sings through clouds
With butterfly baby friends.
One day she'll flutter back to me
So I'll wait here 'til the end.
My butterfly baby didn't want to go
But for all that I clasped her tight
She slipped, fluttered from my fingers
And disappeared into the night.

I'm sorry for your loss, troll, and for all the others on here who have loved and lost.

if roses grow in heaven Lord, then pick a bunch for me. Pl...ace them in my babys arms and tell her they're from me. Tell her that I love and miss her, and when she turns to smile, place a kiss upon her cheek and hold her for a while. R.I.P My Baby Grace,I love you. ♥ x

I wrote this poem for my baby sister, who was stillborn at 20 weeks on the 10th April. I still can't believe how much it hurts to lose someone you never even got to know.

Born Sleeping
By Emily Waters

Daughter, sister, little pearl,
We waited for you, baby girl.
Unexpected, treasured still,
We loved you then and always will,

Ahead of time, too soon you came,
We didn?t take you home again.
Tiny hands and eyes closed tight,
Were taken from us, out of sight.

But still you?re ours, sweet Florence dear,
We won?t forget you, you?re still here.
You life was short, but not unseen,
Inside our hearts you?ve always been.

The time you had was safe and warm,
Protected always from the storm.
You heard us laugh and sing to you,
Part of our family through and through.

A precious girl, we say goodbye,
At least we?ll know you?ll never cry.
Daughter, sister, little pearl,
We?ll always love you, baby girl.

Beautiful, Emily.
The sentiments expressed in these poems have made me cry this morning Sad
