i have had twomiscarraiges in six months and feel as though i am about to scream previuosly had a succesful pregnancy . i had tested abnormal in a smear test and was close to getting cancer(cells were just on the point of turnig) and had to have around three quarters of the suface of my cervix removed could this be a factor as this procedure only happened after i had my son??

Hi devonshire sorry to hear you're suffering. I'm sure someone'll be on soon with some advice, I haven't had your procedure. In the meantime for you, miscarriages are grim and you deserve sympathy for that.

Hi devonshire, sorry to hear of your losses, i too have had the procedure for removing pre cancerous cells, 3 years later i had ny son, but had 2 early mc,s before i concieved my DS. Im no medical expert but i think the precedure is unlikely to be a factor in your mc,s. Wishing you luck for when you are ready to try again.

I'm really sorry to hear about your losses, I have had 2 mc's in 3 months after having 3 successful pregnancies so I know how you feel.

Any problems with your cervix are unlikely to cause issues in early pregnancy as far as I know. Miscarriages before 12 weeks for whatever reason are not generally influenced by the cervix but more the contractions of the uterus.

If the doctors haven't voiced any concerns then I would imagine your cervix will be fine for pregnancy.

Sounds like you (like me hopefully) were just unlucky.

I really hope you get your sticky BFP soon.
