Spotting whilst on progesterone at five weeks after previous losses, any positive outcomes?

Hello, looking for some positive stories 🙏🏻

I’ve had 3 miscarriages with bleeding in each one so was prescribed progesterone and a high strength folic acid. I’m currently about 5 weeks pregnant and have started spotting in the past few days.

Feeling v stressed and spiralling that it’s probably the start of another MC. I’ve had a few symptoms but according to google they could all be related to the progesterone. Not sure what to do as my EPAU says you need to be 6 weeks to self refer

has anyone had the same thing with a positive outcome?? Hoping for the best but feeling pretty defeated.

I was on progesterone pessaries after losses and had a successful pregnancy but there was lots of bleeding all.through 1st trimester and some of the 2nd. I think pessaries can cause irritation. Hope all will be well xx

Thanks so much for your reply, and sorry for your losses. I’m so glad everything worked out for you, and it does give me some hope it could be irritation. Do you mind me asking what the bleeding was like when you were on the pessaries? Xx

I had progesterone pessaries after having 3 miscarriages in a row, I remember my consultant (sorry to be so graphic) suggesting I take them rectally so that my cervix wasn’t irritated as much. I did still have some spotting and bleeding whilst taking the progesterone, but I did go in to have two successful pregnancies. Hoping things work out xx

Thanks for your reply, I really appreciate it. Unfortunately for me I did another test this morning and it was negative, so another chemical for me. Fingers crossed for next time
