Firstly I'm very sorry for anyone who has ever experienced this situation or even come close, the heartbreak is so tough.

I am currently 11 weeks pregnant according to LMP and 13 months postpartum. Around the 6 week mark I was told sac looks irregular in shape and empty. 2 ultrasounds at 8 weeks and 10 weeks still showed an empty sac although sac growth in size. The 10 week one showed a sac with lots of little white lines inside which they said appears my body is getting ready to pass it naturally and it's bleeding within the sac.

I opted for a D&C under GA for next week. I've been in denial for the past month but I've been told I'm sorry it's not progressing as we hoped 3 times now - why hasn't my body started to miscarry!?

It's my first miscarriage and not a drop of blood. Just some back pain and light-headedness.

After hours of searching forums there are those few stories of mothers who found their baby suddenly appearing but I've let go of that hope now. I've accepted its over but when will my body do its thing :(

So sorry you’re going through this, my first miscarriage was a blighted ovum which ended up needing surgery, it’s incredibly tough to get your head around it, I didn’t even know it was a thing until experiencing mine. I remember feeling so angry that my body hadn’t dealt with it naturally so sympathise with you, but once I had the surgery it did help as it at least closed the chapter on the physical side of things. Wishing you all the best, take care x

Thank you for sharing and I'm sorry for your loss. I hope you are doing better now <3
Yes I am only just beginning to accept it now, I've realised just how exhausting it is with my newly 1 year old and keep imagining how much easier it would be if he could dress himself, communicate his feelings, sleep better and potty training before having a sibling. Doesn't make it hurt less but helps me be hopeful for the future after closing this chapter.

Hi. It can take a long time.

i knew at 7 weeks I was carrying a blighted ovum, didn’t miscarry naturally until 13 weeks while still having full pregnancy symptoms.

Horrific.

Unfortunately I’ve had several of these. Each time I’ve opted for medical management. I wouldn’t recommend that route.

Deepest sympathies OP, I kind of know what you are feeling. Xx

same thing happened me on my second pregnancy. I had a D&C. I got pregnant immediately afterwards - didn't wait the couple of months to try again - and everything went really well.

Sorry meant to also say it was very emotional for me and I hope you are doing ok.
