Can you ttc again 10 days after miscarriage?

Long read, please bear with me :)

Hey all. Sadly I had an early miscarriage on Thursday 18th July, confirmed by blood tests and docs by Monday 22nd July (I was in for blood tests every 48 hours as they monitored my hcg dropping). I had horrendous cramps and pretty bad bleeding from the Friday to the Sunday. The latest results from the blood tests yesterday reveal that my hcg is 13, so they are happy with that and can confirm that it's not an ectopic pregnancy or anything they're medically concerned about. My poor veins thank them for this decision, haha.

As of now (9 days since the Thursday my miscarriage symptoms started) I have no pain and no bleeding.

I've been told that I'm probably more fertile than ever before now that I've miscarried and my husband and I are very keen to start trying again. My question is, if assuming today wasn't a one of and the the bleeding is still not there tomorrow, am I safe to go ahead and get back in the saddle so to speak? It will then be 10 says since the miscarriage symptoms start.

I know the general recommendation is either 2 weeks after symptoms stop or until you've had your first cycle but for reasons I won't get into, we only have a limited window in which we can realistically conceive, we can't really wait a possible 6 to 8 weeks for my cycle to return, so im hoping for sooner rather than later but obviously wouldn't do anything that would harm my body or my chances of conceiving again.

Thanks for bearing with me. From the bottom of my heart, I send sticky baby dust your way x

If you feel ready you can certainly try. I think I waited 3 months but if the nurse says it’s ok, go for it. I’m sorry for your loss

I had an early miscarriage age 40 after trying for some time. I thought that would be my last chance but was pregnant the next month. I would say no harm to give it a go. Good luck.

@HopefulMomma ofxourse you can try asap , whenever you feel physically ready . Don’t listen to anyone who says wait couple of month , it makes no difference ! If your body accept new pregnancy in 2 weeks time from now then you’re body is capable of doing this so I’d say go for it , don’t waste any time that’s not needed xx baby dust xx

As long as the bleeding has stopped then that's ok. They used to advise waiting a cycle but that is only for dating purposes.
Just FYI you may well ovulate later in this cycle than usual. With my miscarriages ovulation was delayed a week or two.

After my Mc I was told to wait until bleeding has stopped.

I’m so sorry for your loss. As long as you have stopped bleeding it’s safe to try again but do make sure you’ve had a negative pregnancy test before you start trying just so you can be sure any future positive is a new pregnancy (I’m assuming since your hcg was 13 it will be negative already but worth checking).

I conceived two weeks after my miscarriage and went on to have my daughter. Good luck OP I really hope it works out for you

I’m so sorry for your loss, they say 3 months to get your cycles back to normal, but as soon as you feel ready to then you can try again, that’s not a problem!

The only thing that will possibly get in your way is getting pregnant so soon.

we had a miscarriage in April and said we would try again straight away. We’re now in August and still not pregnant, so it can take time to get pregnant, I didnt want you to sit and think it may happen over night sort of thing, because I think you have a 20% chance each cycle, which is a relatively low percentage and that’s even for healthy couples.

the whole ttc journey is difficult to be honest, in my opinion people make it look incredible easy, but in reality it’s not actually that easy, it’s if your body is ready.
