Recurrent Miscarriage- Advice & Success Stories

Hi all! I was hoping some of your lovely ladies could give me any advice (& hope!) on what to do next.

I'm currently miscarrying my fourth pregnancy. I started ttc May 2023 and have had the following pregnancies:
May 2023- loss at 4.5 weeks
July 2023- loss at 4 weeks
August 2023- loss at 4.5 weeks
June 2024- loss at 6 weeks 6 days (looks like hcg started to drop around 6 weeks)

I've had the following tests: HyCosy all clear, several ultrasounds showing 13 follicles and no uterine abnormalities, bloods mainly normal, a slightly high result for estrogen in follicular phase.
I do have a short Luteal Phase of 8 days. I tried progesterone in the third pregnancy but still lost it at 4.5 weeks. This recent pregnancy I did not take anything.
I'm 30, healthy weight and active, don't smoke etc etc.
I also attend acupuncture weekly and have done so since July 2023.
The bloods that were run by the GP were negative for the lupus anticoagulant and anticardiolipin antibodies so not sure clotting would be an issue for me.
I did take letrozole this cycle which seemed to result in the first pregnancy I have had for 9 months.
Because my early losses weren't seen on scan, I am still not eligible for the recurrent miscarriage referral in Scotland.

I'm just not sure what to do next and would love to hear from anyone who has had anything similar, what investigations you did and whether there's any success stories. Hoping I can learn from you all x

So sorry to hear about your losses. It sounds like you’ve had some comprehensive testing - a couple of other things I had was thyroid testing (you may have had that though) and also a hysteroscopy with EMMA and ALICE testing (which I think are testing for the health of the uterus). A lot of ladies on here mention immunity testing too; I haven’t gone down that route at the moment as the evidence base doesn’t seem strong, though I have seen people on here who have had success with that. Professor Winston has an interesting website with a q&a on complex fertility issues which is worth a read too. Karyotyping (genetic testing) is something else you could consider doing privately, and of course any tests for your partner too. Best of luck xx
