TRIGGER WARNING

Hi all, I recently had a miscarriage just around 2 weeks ago, and have been going to work and carrying on as normal, my bleeding has been very up and down but has been manageable. Yesterday when I got to work I just randomly started with what felt like I was pouring out with blood to the point that I was stuck on the toilet for over an hour as it was not stopping and would fill a pad up in minutes, after that hour it hasn’t happened again but it has made me worried to go anywhere incase it does happen again because that was completely unexpected, has anyone experienced this a few weeks after a miscarriage? I also had quite a few I assume clots pass out which you can see in the photos I just wanted to know if this is all normal 2 weeks after miscarriage

Please put a trigger warning in your title

Id contact your EPU. Also take a pregnancy test, the line will still possibly be there but should be faint, if it’s really strong could be a sign that something is not right.

Yeah as above, could have some retained matter so best to get checked I think. That sounds like a lot of blood for that stage. Sorry for your loss.

This is my second miscarriage in a row now, I contacted them and they advised me on taking a pregnancy test which I did and the line was faint but they said I need to go to hospital to get checked out, I just never went through this with my first one so it all feels so strange

I’m going to get checked on Friday so fingers crossed I just want to feel like myself again and not feel scared to leave the house

Oh that's so tough, it's hard enough losing one but when it then hangs over you and physically as well as mentally prevents you from moving forward that's even worse!

It’s nice that there’s a place like this where you can talk about it with people who are going through the same thing
