I have my letter from the nhs come through saying I have an appointment with the miscarriage specialist on 6th March (waited 4 months).
If anyone has had testing done through the nhs, pls can you let me know what to expect ? It doesn’t say anything on the letter except the date , time, location.
I was told previously that if you become pregnant they can’t do tests on you. Is that true? I’m not pregnant now but we are trying (doctor said we shouldn’t stop trying).
I have these questions to ask, is there anything else you would ask?
- I already give birth to a healthy 4 year old , no pregnancy complications. Could something have changed in my body?
- I had a planned c section (breached position), could they have damaged my cervix or uterus or bladder without me knowing or having any symptoms? (Sonographer hand a quick look and said everything looked fine)
- I wanted to ask to get tested if I have a weakened cervix but I read you can only do that when pregnant. I’m paranoid something is wrong with my cervix because I have cervical erosion and I bleed when I have sex, get a Pap smear, insert moon cup… does this have a link? If I get pregnant again can I get tested for this?
- In the check up scan can I get tested to see if my uterus looks normal
- Ive been pregnant 5 times and 4 out of 5 times I instantly got pregnant first try. Even though I miscarried twice in a row and I know the chances increase each time,
Is it a good sign that I can conceive quite easily or does it not matter ? does it affect your fertility the more miscarriages you have?
- I’ve been told I can be prescribed progesterone when I next become pregnant. What about aspirin?
- If I Become pregnant again am I eligible to have an earlier scan for reassurance . I had 2x MMC and both times I bled at 10 weeks
