Ideas to help make third time lucky?

Hi team
I have had two MC. One at almost 12 weeks which was spontaneous and one MMC at 10 weeks where the baby looked like it died around 7. The NHS won’t help at all - even with preconception advice (my GP told me to Google it…). So here I am! DH and I are taking pre conception vitamins and I am going to start on aspirin and request progesterone as soon as we conceive again. Any other advice please?! When I have an MC I get proper labour pain and I’m really keen to not experience it again…
thanks

How is your health? Your diet? Your weight?

I'm sorry for your losses. A private scan might be a good idea, to look at your ovaries and the shape of your uterus etc.

I know the NHS are absolutely crap with miscarriages and don't bother with any tests etc until 3+ miscarriages. It sounds like you're doing all you can with the aspirin etc. Got my fingers crossed for you!

Thanks both. I’ve had scans at NHS and privately (that’s how we found out about MMC because my symptoms suddenly stopped and NHS wouldn’t scan me) and all looks heathy.
I am pretty healthy, I’ve gained weight since my first MC so I was BMI 19 but 21 now. Eat lots of veg and not super active but trying to be more active now and increasing fruit veg nuts etc in diet.
I’m not sure what else I can do!

@Paddleandbail OP I am so sorry for your losses
The NHS usually do not help until 3+ losses
If you can afford a fertility MOT or even a scan just to see if everything is looking as it should I would suggest that
Most miscarriages are due to chromosome issues so there is most likely nothing you have done or your body has done especially as you seem healthy
After 2/3 losses you are still more likely to have a healthy pregnancy than another miscarriage

I am so sorry it is truly the worst pain

Avoid processed foods, cook from scratch, have as wide a mix of fruit & veg as possible, regular gentle exercise, avoid alcohol and energy drinks, plenty of water.

good luck x
