I’m early on in my pregnancy and just started experiencing brown discharge, it’s gradually getting darker and thicker and I’m experiencing cramping, I was wondering if anyone who’s had a early miscarriage could explain their experience as I really can’t tell if it’s normal or not x

I also know of many women who bled on and off throughout their pregnancies and still went on to have a healthy baby, so don't lose hope.

I have also had 3 chemical pregnancies. Have you found anything different that works for next time during conception?

Not for conception, just tracking ovulation and timing DTD accordingly. My GP prescribed progesterone pessaries after I'd had a bleed and threatened MC following positive pregnancy tests though (which helped, I'm currently over 39w). I had to fight for it though after having 3 spontaneous miscarriages at 8, 9/10 and 6 weeks, plus multiple chemical pregnancies as well.

Did you get your chemical pregnancies recorded on your records with your GP? If not then do that. Good luck in your journey TTC🤞

@Margo34 Did you get the pessaries after a positive ultrasound scan or just after a positive test result?

After positive test, but I'd not long before had full blood work and internal/external ultrasound scans to check the status of my previous miscarriage as it lingered for a little over 6w.
