Miscarriage 7 weeks

So I have two children already so was pretty shocked when I had a missed period. Pregnancy test came back so bold this was just over two weeks ago. The pregnancy didn't feel right from the start. I told the midwife and she said cramping can be normal the more children you have. I had no morning sickness which was another red flag for me, I know each pregnancy is different so was unsure. Spotting started Saturday so I rang the early pregnancy unit and was expecting them to ask me to go in to be checked over and the advice was ring back if really heavy blood or severe cramps and they booked me in for a scan next week. Sunday I had blood like a period flow called the unit again, given the same advice and that everything could still be alright as some people do lose some blood. Monday was the worse day as I was losing lots of blood including clots. It has sort of eased off a bit now and having some aches and pains with it too. Is it just me who thought there would be more support around this? It has shocked me the lack of help available. It feels like such a scary and lonely time to be left to get on with it. I had so many questions like what do I expect? How much bleeding is too much? And still do have some. It's quite shocking how it is so common and women are left to get through it at home. Dreading the scan next week and emotions are all over the place. Read so many articles online trying to get some sort of timeline of a miscarriage. Thank you for reading, any support is appreciated x x

@Claire73698 They are just poor, it's true. From the sonographers, to the nurses and even the consultants. Just cold and detached.

You are lucky to have a "normal" miscarriage though. I have one child, but just had two missed miscarriages in a row, my body doesn't get rid of them naturally, so I needed surgery both times. Would have loved to miscarry at home with support and comforts around me.

@Sarah20201985 I am thankful for the way it has worked out and I don't need any further treatment, just doesn't make it feel any easier. Think I had it in my head that after yesterday is over I would start to feel better but it’s just not that simple is it x x
