@Nicham29, its not a nice place to be is it?!
Ok, so update to above:
GCRM will run tests, but you are better to ring them as their email replys are generic without consideration for recurrent miscarriages.
Once you have an assigned consultant with GCRM things start moving! My thyroid (TSH) test came back a little high, so I've been in touch with my GP for prescriptions. He is excellent and is running some extended thyroid blood tests to check if this is something just to consider whilst TTC or more long term.
GCRM and ABC4D don't have the capacity to run the antiphospholipid tests ("sticky blood") at the moment, as the blood needs to be recieved by the lab within 8 hours, and there isn't the means to do this when the lab is in London.
I was in the process of trying to ring labs in London to find out how to get this done, when I got called by the NHS recurrent miscarriage clinic in QEUH.
So, I am now on the NHS system aswell, they are going to run a full blood screen. (its just over 3 months since my last confirmed miscarriage, so that gives you an idea of current waiting time at QEUH, they did say they wouldn't look at a file until 3 months after 3rd miscarriage, so that was accurate)
So far, my experience is always quite positive when it comes to the actual tests, and contact and results. But is pretty poor in trying to book things to start with and find out any information. However, I am definitely an advocate of asking to speak to a different dr at your surgery, or just moving clinics, as I have had a really positive experience with mine. (He is a male dr and can empathise/sympathise but is excellent at recognising he has not been through this. He's quite scientific but good!)
So - Nicham29, be prepared for a few months wait, even going private. Be prepared to wait for bloodtests, then more bloodtests.
Be prepared to wait 3 months to be seen at QEUH (assuming that's where you went)
Best of luck!
