Online consultant appointment tomorrow for recurrent miscarriage - should I pee on a stick beforehand?

So, as recommended on here, I have an appointment tomorrow with Nova Fertility, with Dr. Lamiya Mohiyiddeen, since I've had 2 miscarriages in a row and I want to at least see if I can get private prescription for progesterone, steroids etc (I had been referred to NHS recurrent miscarriage clinic, but they declined the referral and can't get hold of GP to find out why).

I'm in the 2 week wait. Period is due on Monday. I really do not want to test early, since I know my anxiety will be off the scale if I start testing and then thinking about line progression. Ideally, I want to see if I'm late and go from there.

However, given that I have the consultation tomorrow evening, I wonder it it is worth doing an FRER tomorrow, so that if I am pregnant I can get the prescriptions etc straight away. For background, I have conceived first time round each time we've tried, but whether that's fluke or not, I don't know. So I may well be pregnant, but not sure if an FRER would work as I'd still be testing pretty early on.

Has anyone got any advice? Assuming I don't test tomorrow, is it relatively easy to get hold of the consultant and get a prescription issued if I do find out I'm pregnant next week.

If you think that you can manage it emotionally, I think that I'd test, understanding that it might be too early. Good luck!

Thank you. Ugh, so conflicted. Obviously if I am pregnant then getting the medication ASAP is probably a good idea. But if I get a negative test then I'll be wanting to do more and driving myself somewhat mad....
