I had a misscarage at 8 weeks after seeing babies heartbeat twice. I'm finding it very hard to let go 2 weeks later I've still managed to part with the remains. I was thinking about planting it so I can watch it grow but that won't last forever. So I was advised you can get a cremation so I called up my local funeral directors and they said its something they are willing to help me with but that I may not have anything tk take home as its so early into the pregnancy you can visibly see the fetus and to me it was my baby it had a beating heart and I cannot let go I want to go for a cremation as I can keep the tiny bit of what's left forever but I'm petrified that I will hand of my baby and have nothing back ease any advice will be massively appreciated

I'm sorry for your loss. What about burying the remains in the garden and planning something lovely like lavander.

Thank you for your reply that sounds like a lovely idea I'm just really worried that I won't be able to keep the plant alive and I will have to end up binning it. I won't be living where I am for much longer so I'd need to have a plant that I can take with me do you recommend any plants that are long lasting and that can grow indoors

I put my 10 week miscarriage remains into a small china pot and sealed it shut and planted it in the base of the pot of a pieris plant in the garden. Over 6 years on the plant is still thriving and I can look at it and remember that loss and the other, slightly earlier one I had for which there were no remains.
I'm v sorry for your loss. Take care.

I really appreciate your replies thank you. I can't plant in my garden as I will be moving at some point. If I was to get a larger pot and keep it in the garden would this also work then when I move I can plant it properly sorry if this sounds silly I've never grew a plant in my life
