So I've had recurring miscarriages for the last 3 years and today I had a scan they told me I have polycystic ovaries on one ovary and uterine polyp. Has anyone experienced this had miscarriages and gone onto have a live birth after treatment?

Although is upsetting to know that my body may has caused the miscarriages Atleast I know exactly what it is now and I Cx an hopefully get treatment and fix it??

Hi I really don't knwo much, but my SIL has a uterine polyp, and now has 2 kids.

It was a long road, it took them a long time ot get pregnant, but she has 2 lovely sons.

And I do know of several with PCOS with kids.

Don;t give up. Flowers

I have PCOS which led to infrequent periods and ovulation, for me I had to lose weight and regulate my sugar levels which regulated my periods, but it took a while to conceive because that work needed to be done.

PCOS can mean that you're insulin resistant so sugar isnt processed properly which then leads to other things not working as well.

It's worth asking for blood tests to check your sugar levels and your hormone levels, I had excess testosterone for example.

Then the dr can help with if lifestyle changes or medication would help.

I believe I had at least 2 chemical pregnancies/early losses but it was difficult to know for sure because my periods were all over the place.

I had a uterine polyp and had five miscarriages.
During investigations, I kept being told that the polyp was too small to cause a miscarriage.
After the fifth loss, I had a slight retained products at the site of the polyp. The doctors then said they would remove both the polyp and the retained products because I was so distressed. They previously didn't want to touch it as they said it might cause scarring which may cause different issues.
Anyway, they removed it and my sixth pregnancy was successful, I'm now 30 weeks pregnant with my seventh pregnancy.
There are people with polyps who have no issues, so I'm not certain that it was the removal of the polyp. I'm religious, so just believe it was a case of grace, but if you have any questions, please ask.
Wishing you all the best! x
