Successful ERPCs and RPOC stories?

Hi, I wonder if anyone has any successful stories to share. Surgical ERPC now unavoidable tomorrow, due to RPOC after failed medical management 4 weeks ago. At the initial point of choosing a management route I was reassured by ‘very rare’ info on leaflet about Ashermans risks, then was swayed against it after reading a ton of gynae journal articles about pretty common issues of adhesions and depleted lining, which pushed me towards trying medical first.

I am having probably my only cycle of IVF with my own eggs due to my age, and only have a few embryos left, so my uterus is a big deal to me.
But I know most women and people trying to have a baby are ok and go on to have healthy pregnancies after ERPC. I just don’t feel that lucky right now! Any positive stories welcomed.

I had an ERPC followed by 2 x healthy kids
BUT
At the nhs hospital it wasn't an actual doctor that would do it??? More a "clinican" apparently.

I had health insurance so went private and chose a consultant who specialises in gynae onocology so felt he would be "skilled" down there.

I still had terrible anxiety abkut ashermans as my friend ended up with a TERRIBLE case of it. however she did then go on to have 3 healthy DC with no problems but after a lot of corrective surgery.

If I did it again i would wait longer if possoble before paying private. I think my surgery would have cost around 1k but this was Harley street so assume would be cheaper elsewhere.

I also ended up going to the one guy in the UK who can scan for ashermans because of my anxiety as I was so paranoid.

I'm very sorry for your loss btw and the above is supposed to be positive xxx

@JanewaysBun thank you. My procedure will be done by NHS tomorrow but they do these all the time, under ultrasound guidance, so I’m not worried I’ll get a student doctor etc. Many private Drs also work NHS, or used to.
Was that a hysterosalpingography or hysteroscopy you had? I know hysteroscopies have their own risks.

Oh that's good. Mine was 3 years ago so sounds like they're more advanced now.

I actually didn't ask tbh sorry x

I had an ERPC due to retained products. Fell pregnant again 8 weeks later and now have a nearly 1 year old. Recovery from ERPC was amazingly quick

@3rdtimelucky2019 thank you. It’s good to remember that it goes ok most of the time.
