Bleeding at 6.1

I’m 6+1 today (Ivf pregnancy) I’ve had 3 losses in the past all around this stage. At 5+5 I had a scan which showed gestational sac and yolk sac everything looked fine but the doctor did ask if I’d bled as she could see something but thought maybe it was just irritation from the Ivf treatment. Anyway, the next morning I had the faintest ever brown spotting which was over as quick as it started. Then last night it started again and turned to red but no clots and no pain. This morning it’s still there but not enough to fill a pad. I know it’s pointless but yesterday I done a frer and it was a dye stealer and this morning I done a clear blue which has increased to 3+ I did feel symptoms seemed to fade last couple of days but this morning felt a bit nauseous again and boobs slightly sore. I don’t really want to go for another scan yet as I’m worried it may irritate things (I know that’s silly) I am booked in for a 7.5 scan anyway but wondered what your thoughts/experiences were? I did think the worst last night but this morning I’m a little bit hopeful again

Great news @Mctm123 ❤️💕 I'm so pleased for you. Do you have a hematoma? They're so tiny at this stage but great to hear you have a heartbeat. Xx

Mctm123 · 10/11/2020 20:08

Thanks @VenusStarr well I asked the midwife was it a hematoma an she said ‘well some people would call it that I suppose’ she was very laid back!! Xx

I’m so pleased that you got some good news . I have had 3 pregnancies which ended in miscarriage including one missed miscarriage . My 4th pregnancy was a successful twin pregnancy but I actually bled very heavily from around 8 weeks for about 2 months and then spotting for the next two months after that . I actually assumed that I had lost the baby such was the level of blood loss ( sorry TMI but it seemed to fill the toilet bowl) and so I was devastated. To my amazement and obviously delight my consultant (private IVF clinic) told me the next day he could see two heart beats . I had less bleeding with my miscarriages. I wish you well for the rest of your pregnancy .

And I wish the others on this thread well who have had less good news . I fully understand what you are going through having navigated the world of infertility and pregnancy loss for over 5 years .

Mctm123 · 12/11/2020 07:38

That’s a great story @Thisisconfusing and fills me with hope, thank you. I bet you were over the moon with twins after all the heartache! Glad it all worked out for you. I’m lucky that I have a gorgeous little 5 year old boy but it’s been since he was born that we have tried to give him a sibling so if this goes all the way I’ll be delighted that finally I can close the book on secondary infertility and move on. It has been pretty exhausting. But fingers crossed this one is a successful pregnancy xx

Fabulous news @Mctm123 ❤️ I am thrilled for you!! 💕 Brilliant news. Does that mean you've graduated now? Xx

Mctm123 · 18/11/2020 19:49

Thank you @VenusStarr😊 Yes, can’t believe it...the only reason we done that last go of treatment was because we had complained to PALS about negligence and they offered us a free cycle. It’s just crazy to think that this was the one that worked! Xx

How are things with you? Hope you’re doing well xx

Such lovely news @Mctm123, meant to be ❤️💕

I'm good thank you - I found out today that I have a very aggressive autoimmune (natural killer cells) response to pregnancy so likely the reason for my miscarriages. I've got a treatment plan now, so feeling hopeful 🤞 🌈 xx

Mctm123 · 19/11/2020 07:25

Oh that’s great news @VenusStarr obv not the condition but the fact you have some answers now and your plan in place!! Please keep me updated, I’ll be thinking of you 🥰xxx
