Hello, hoping someone might be able to point me in the right direction as days of googling have brought up nothing.
As a bit of background, I've had a healthy pregnancy, then 3 early pregnancy losses followed by another healthy pregnancy. Started trying for a 3rd baby in Jan 19 and have had 2 very early losses this year (both < 5 weeks). I went to my GP in Oct before the losses and was given an ultrasound check (found nothing obviously wrong) and a 21 day blood test (inconclusive). When I went back to discuss I saw another GP who said I wouldn't qualify for IVF anyway, and there's nothing else that they can do so why am I wasting NHS resources with getting these tests done (which is fair enough I guess).
I don't want IVF but I feel like there are other things to try e.g. progesterone? but maybe I'm just fooling myself and I should give up trying for a 3rd and be grateful for what I have (I've just turned 38 so time is not on my side). Very very aware of just how lucky I am to have 2 already.
Sorry this is turning out so long
my question actually was whether there was any private tests I could do specifically to check for reasons for very early pregnancy loss? I can find 'fertility mots' and such but can't find anything related specifically to recurrent miscarriage testing.
Or maybe I should just stop trying, not throw good money after bad and accept that it's not going to happen
TIA
