When does pregnancy officially end after MC? Furlough implications?

I'm an agency worker and was put on furlough, simply due to my pregnancy. I started to MC last week, and still passing products (I know the difference between just clots). Due to covid, they wont scan, but said to do a pregnancy test in 3 weeks to confirm the pregnancy is over.

What date do I give to work? It will mean the end of my furlough pay which I understand, but would they ask for evidence? If so, what could I give or send them?

I'm sure I read somewhere it's 2 weeks after a miscarriage is confirmed which you could class as being the date you take the test in 3 weeks time? Depends if you want to be off furlough earlier? With my miscarriages bleeding was generally over within a week and definitely negative tests within 2

@ivfgottostaypositive- Thanks for your reply. Any idea where you read the info about 2 weeks? I'm in no rush to come off furlough earlier, as I'm frontline and would be working with known covid patients. I equally don't want to be paid longer than I'm entitled to.

Just can't find any information to clarify things.

I would say whenever you get a negative test thats when its officially over. But dont rush back before your ready. I bled for a month after my mc, had a negative test after 2 weeks but i was badly ill from it all for another 3 weeks and physically couldnt return to work in that time. (stupidly no one told me i could claim ssp so i lost a months salary.)

@Anotherloss

See below - this is what I've read before but I've always gone back much sooner following my losses as for my own mental health I prefer to be around people/back in a routine

The Equality Act 2010 provides protection against discrimination on the grounds of pregnancy or pregnancy-related sickness for a protected period of two weeks from the end of a pregnancy for women who are not entitled to maternity leave. During this period you are protected against discrimination related to your pregnancy, miscarriage or related sick leave.

@ivfgottostaypositive- thanks for the link and info.

I've just called the miscarriage association, and they too didn't have a definitive answer. Furlough is new, so not written into my agency contract.

My previous MC's, I was at work the next day, to keep busy and think about other things. I'm in a different job now, and in the middle of a pandemic, so not as keen to rush back- but want to do what is legally correct.
