Hi all, i wanted to post this here in case anyone finds it helpful.
If you had your booking in appt with the midwives before you miscarried then you'll likely have received your prescription charges exemption form. It doesn't seem obvious but this is still valid after you've miscarried. You can use it until it expires for prescriptions, it just doesn't apply to dental stuff.
I miscarriage year and I've recently used mine to get my clexane injections for free before I get seen by the midwives for this current pregnancy.
You can also use it if any of you need to go on antidepressants and the like.
Just something useful. TTC can get very expensive and this could just help take a bit of the stress out of it.
Much love to you all. Miscarriage is sh*t.

Hmmm, this wasnt what i was advised. I was informed its only still valid if you suffer a late miscarriage.

I checked with the NHS business service authority who police this when it affected me, They told me it's valid for prescriptions until its expiry date as the question is do you have a valid maternity exemption certificate, which you do. The question for dentistry is are you pregnant or have you had a baby in the last 12months which the answer is no unless late miscarriage past the date a birth certificate can be issued. I emailed them and they were very helpful and it also meant I had confirmation if anyone tried to fine me,which they didn't.
