Hi all

Im brand new here

So in summary...

I have a 3 yr old son who is healthy, was born via emergency c section at 36 weeks

We tried for another child and still trying

But have suffered three miscarriages now.

1 at 12 weeks and then badly haemorraged

1 at 7 weeks

1 suspected ectopic but ended in miscarriage at 8 or 9 weeks

I have seen a consultant in recurrent miscarriage, and under investigations for this

My consultant seemed to think i may have aps/hughes syndrome but obviously
needed to test for this amd other clotting disorders

She ordered an ultrasound which was normal

And had bloods

Testing for thyroid issues diabetes and clotting problems. And APS

The first set of bloods were taken and was told can take 5 weeks for results

I never hard anything but recieved a letter from a consultant haematologist, who said my consultant has requested to check my blood clotting risk

I have had these bloods done about 4 weeks ago....loads of blood taken and was just told they are looking at different blood clotting disorders

Has anyone experienced this process??

I assume my first lot of bloods showed something, and the second lot are to confirm this?

I know its a waiting game, but to speak to someone whomay be in a similar position would help greatly i think

Thanks,
