What the hell is going on?

Sorry if this is a long rambling post but my head is all over the place. Me and DH DTD around 3 or 4 times around ovulation, was convinced I was pg as about a week later I had cramping for 3 days then just before AF was due I was feeling nauseous tired etc. But all tests were BFN. Yesterday morning AF came but I was in ALOT of pain so took some cocodomol and thought no more of it. At around 3am I woke up in agony, was so bad I was shaking and thought I was going to be sick/pass out. DH got me a hot water bottle annd some painkillers but I was writhing in the bed for nearly 2 hours in pain I was so worried and didn't know what to do so phoned early pregnancy unit who said without a positive test I'd just have to go to the GP. Did another test today (but not FMU) and still BFN which I'm relieved about but I'm confused as to why I was in so much pain, I had a miscarriage last year and the pain this time was worse then that. Sorry I don't know what to expect on here just need to get iit all out as already had an awful weekend and the thought of going through another miscarriage was scaring the hell out of me

Serious abdominal pain should always be checked out. Give 111 a call and they should triage you on the phone if you don't just want to goto a and e straight away, but if I was in that much pain, I probably would xxx

I've been taking painkillers today which seems to have kept the pain at bay but I almost feel like all the muscles around my uterus feel weak like if they've been having a work out (don't know how else to explain it) I did think of phoning GP but after past experience I think they'll just poo poo it as bad period pain, although after giving birth twice, having an ectopic and a previous miscarriage I'd like to think I've got a pretty good pain threshold and know my body enough to know what's not normal pain

@sprite25

Yeh it's annoying when you do know your body and the GP wont listen. Glad you have got the pain in check at the moment.

If you have had a bad experience with one GP at the practise, can you book to see another??

I know a lot of women get very bad period pains, but if it's out of the ordinary for you it's worth having a chat with them.
Xx
