I had a erpc last Friday for 3rd mmc and since then I've noticed my tummy is swollen like the start of a baby bump which is torture and a constant reminder my little bubs has gone, when I press in it is tender and does feel hard, I know from last year this did last for a while but can't remember a swollen tummy.

I don't remember having a swollen tummy at all after my erpc.

I think you ought to see your GP tomorrow. If you start feeling very unwell, phone 111.

Think I will give them a ring in the morning if it's still the same or will ring the hospital that I was at.

No, swelling is a sign of infection. Please go and get seen. You really need a scan to make sure there's nothing left. I'm so sorry, this is the worst, having to go through possible complications/side effects after already such an awful time.

I do have a scan on Friday to make sure that there isn't. I don't seem to have a temperature, I was given codeine to take which until Sunday I was since then have not felt the need to and I know they can give you constipation, just wondering could this be the cause of my swollen tummy?. I know they want to be thorough that's why they said about booking the scan and I was thinking this is not what I need but I know I need to as this is what the doctor at the hospital recommended.
