Hi there , over the past 18mths I’ve had three miscarriages . One was at 23 weeks .
I have been referred to the Recurrent Miscarriage by the Glasgow royal . Does anyone know how long it takes for an appointment to come back and what they do at this clinic ?

I'm sorry for your losses.
I was referred in December 2017 to a recurrent miscarriage clinic (not in Scotland though) - the wait time was 4 months and had my appointment in April 2018 but I had already gone on to have a ruptured near fatal ectopic pregnancy in that time.
They ll run a load of blood tests - the "standard" ones - blood clotting, thyroid etc but I found them pretty limited - they don't seek to look outside the box and tailor the tests to the individual - it just seemed like they were ticking off a list - for example NHS won't test your partner even though 50% of fertility issues are due to male factors
They also don't test progesterone levels etc - then they pack you off and just tell you to call when you next get a positive pregnancy test at which time they'll book you in for scans every 2 weeks from 6 weeks pregnant (I haven't record that point yet sadly and still waiting for my BFP) x

Thanks for getting back to me crazyfools.
I’m just not sure where to start on going for help and to understand what’s going on. I called the EPC today and they said 6-12wks for an appointment then after that they look at bloods . Just feel like I’m getting nowhere

@Marshall1982
Unfortunately nothing seems to move quickly in the NHS!
I would be prepared that they might not find any answers - a lot of miscarriages are unexplained and I found that the hardest to deal with x
