Miscarriage after IVF / when to start FET?

I found out today at my 8wk6day scan that the baby had stopped growing about a week ago and there was no heartbeat. We saw the heartbeat at 7wks. We're totally heartbroken and even though I had tried to prepare for this is still really hurts. Just waiting to bleed now. I thought it was too good to be true that our first IVF round worked.

I've stopped the progesterone today. Has anyone had this happen to them? How long did it take to start bleeding, I know everyone is different. How long did you wait to start a FET? I feel it will help knowing when I can start again.

The doctor has said it's likely to be a chromosome issue as are most miscarriages. I'm not sure we could afford testing as we're already self funding IVF and will now have to pay for the next FET drugs (already paid for a multi IVF package). We have 4 frozen embryos left. I'm hoping it won't come to using them all.

Hey,

I'm really sorry for your loss. I lost mine earlier than you at 5w5d took me 5 days after stopping the progesterone to bleed but was just really a pass and then stopped a few hours later. That was 10th dec and I've since bled Christmas Day for 3 days and then two weeks later for another 3 days. Currently now CD17 today and I have all my pills for FET ready to go as soon as I start to bleed again.
