Period due on the 13th.

V faint positive test Monday morning with FMU.

Woke up this morning to bleeding (bright red, decent amount)

Negative test this morning

I just want to know what the bloody hell is going on.

Phoned EPU. Too early to investigate, wait and watch. Unable to get GP appointment tomorrow.

Chemical pregnancy so your period was a bit late? Fairly common, I've had it happen a few times.

Would the test go negative this quick? I did think maybe a duff test but then surely this one would be duff too so I'm back wondering which to trust!

Managed to get a GP appointment for this evening (a miracle unless you phone at bang on 8am - not a second later), so maybe gp will be able to shed some light?

Good luck xx

If it was only faint on Monday then yes it could. Doctor might do a blood test but to be honest it doesn't sound like there's much point if home test is negative plus you're bleeding. It's frustrating I know!

Ohb0llocks · 20/09/2018 15:00

I'm guessing the chances of a false negative, especially with FMU and bleeding are slim then?

If there was a line on Monday then it should be a fair bit darker by today to be honest. It depends on test sensitivity but I'd say it was unlikely especially with the bleeding too. Unless you did a really sensitive test on Monday and the one today was much less sensitive.
