Hey ladies,

Me and my oh habe been ttc for our 2nd for 3 months. I know its not the longest time but ive got pregnant every month and had 2 chemicals and going through my 3rd miscarriage now. Ive got a bicorn (unknown to what extent) and i had a manual placenta removal with my son due tp him being a 34 weeker, most likely caused by the bicorn. I saw my dr today as i suspect ectopic but she brushed me off completely and when i questioned my 3 miscarriages, her answer was basically keep trying and i feel that was a pretty poor answer. I hate having eve appointments on a friday as it qas so obvious she just wanted to go home 😣

Hi @Sleepycat91. So sorry to hear of your losses. Flowers

I’m currently experiencing my fourth miscarriage at 10+4. Previous have been 10ws, 6wks and a CP.

I was referred by my GP to reoccurring miscarriage clinic last year after my third at 6wks. They basically refused to see me as according to their criteria I needed to have three recorded miscarriages. The CP was never verified, as by it’s nature it’s a very early miscarriage; and I’m not sure if they are counting my 6wk one as I never made it to the early scan planned for 7wks.

I’ve been very forceful with the hospital, that I expect a referral this time. I partly blame them for being in my current situation, as feel if they had seen me they could have identified something and treated it or at least I would have better understood the risks. Instead I was fobbed off to my previous miscarriages being a case of ‘bad luck’ - I feel there is something underlying it though.

You may need to check your hospital’s qualifying criteria and find a sympathetic doctor for the referal.

Not sure whether bicorn would help support a referal, as this shouldn’t necessary reduce likelihood of conception but you’d most likely be consultant lead once a viable pregnancy is confirmed.

BTW if you suspect ectopic, go straight to the hospital. Don’t wait around.
