Stupid body - wondering when I'll ovulate after mc

Had Mc at 6w5d in June. Usually have 26d cycles so was pleased to get first af exactly 26d after the first day of Mc bleeding. Didn't appear to ovulate between Mc and af. Since that af (i.e. Cycle 2 following Mc) I've had no period - currently cd33. Am definitely not pregnant. Fertility Friend thinks i ovulated on cd15 by my temperature chart, which would be normal for me, but I don't really trust it- temp pattern is quite jaggedly. Plus, I've been getting ridiculous and pretty constant amounts of ewcm ever since the Mc (so for 2 months). My theory is body is trying to ovulate but can't? Anyone had any experience? I guess it's just hormones going a bit wacko but I dunno Confused

I would say it's because your body is still settling after the miscarriage. My periods still don't seem completely normal 7 months on and they doctor said it's because your body needs time to heal and your hormones need to settle. Go and see your GP and they can give you advice xxx

Thanks for your reply @Cocoabean25 Smile will try to be patient and yes I think I will go to gp if it doesn't arrive soon. Think I was taken in by the whole 'you're more fertile just after a MC' idea. Not in this case it seems! Smile

They say you're more fertile but the doctor told me you bees to give yourself at least a couple of months to recover. He said if I tried again too soon after the miscarriage then the likelihood of me having another miscarriage would be higher. So definitely best to wait and recover first xx

Thank you cocoabean

I don't think there's any increased risk of miscarriage in trying again soon after an early loss (although I'm happy to be corrected on that.) the reason they tell you to wait is that saying can be problematic (well, more expensive as you'd need a scan) without a last menstrual period date.
