Hi all,
I had a missed miscarriage at about 9 weeks in mid-Jan (medical management) and had my first AF 3 weeks ago. The bleeding has pretty much stopped now - except after we have sex... is this normal? how long should I expect it to go on for?....any advice and experience would be appreciated!.... thank you x

Hi Cashew - sorry to hear about your m/c.

I don't think it is normal to have bleeding after sex post m/c - it's definitely worth seeing your GP about this, just to put your mind at rest, particularly if you are thinking abouty TTC again soon.
Hope everything is OK - I'm sure it will be, but best to check it out.

Thanks, I was thinking the same thing myself - I think if it happens again I'll book an appointment.

Any-one else experienced this??

sorry about your mc, cashew. Without wanting to worry you, this bleeding is not normal, and you should go to your GP. Hope all is OK.

I had a m/c at 6 weeks, i'm so sorry for your loss.

I agree with the other posters it doesn't sound normal to bleed like that. I would go to your gp.

How did you get on cashew? Hope you are well and feeling positive.

Thanks for checking up on me.
I finally went over to my Early Pregnancy Unit yesterday, because it's easier for me than my GP (and probably more knowledgeable on the subject!)
They weren't worried and thought it was probably just hormonal as things were 'settling back down'. They said if it's still happening after my next period then to pop back and they'll investigate.
You never know... maybe there wont be one for a while!!!?!! (here's hoping )
