Taking levothyroxine?

Long story short. Two MMC. Under a fertility clinic. One DC. Been advised to take levothyroxine as although fine for normal life, too high for FET. Worried about side effects and what will happen when i come off them.
Any experience?

What is your tsh level before you went on it and what dose are you taking?

There are no side effects at all, other than you might just feel like you have more energy. The tablet is just a synthetic version of what your body isn't producing enough of.

If your FET works, then you'll need to see the dr straight away to up your dose, and have regular blood tests to keep an eye on your tsh level during pregnancy. When you have your booking appointment and list the drugs you are on, they should flag this as something to monitor.

After you have the baby, they will keep an eye on your thyroid. If it is under control, they might suggest you come of it. Otherwise you will stay on a daily tablet for life

Look up the symptoms for an under active thyroid - do any of them look familiar? If so, you will probably see an improvement on the tablets and want to stay on them. Even though mine is only slightly under active, I feel dreadful in a matter of weeks if I'm not on the correct dose and my tsh gets too high...

I take levothyroxine. When I was pg doc advised to up dosage. Very much standard practice.

You're on a tiny dose and only need to reduce your TSH by a small amount, so I don't think you'll notice much difference
You might feel marginally less tired?
