15 weeks - could it be a miscarriage?

Hello,

If anyone can offer any advice it would be really appreciated. I've had two previous miscarriages at 10 and 11 weeks and am now 15 weeks with my third pregnancy. I'm a bit concerned as I've had on and off cramps all day, they are there most of the time and occasionally every few hours I get a more painful one. I've had cramps most of the way through so far and am worrying every time I get them. I've still got the usual milky discharge too but no bleeding or spotting.

I'm so scared it's another miscarriage, has anyone get any advice or reassurance? Thank you.

I had this with my dd, my doc said it was the ovaries being tugged into place while the womb grows. Could have been complete nonsense but at the time it made sense to me.

Could well just be everything stretching out. It must be very worrying after 2 later mcs but I'm sure if you're not bleeding all is fine

I've still got this and had it on and off all week, still no bleeding so I'm hoping it's normal. Has anyone had anything similar?

Hi. I'm sorry I don't have any answers for you. But in your position i would push for a scan, just to put your mind at ease. I hope everything will be fine for you.

I don't know where abouts you are but is there an emergency midwifery department? I am 18weeks and had terrible cramping, but like you no bleeding. I rang them up and they had me in and seen quickly within the hour! They were so nicd and said if in doubt, just get checked. Kept my mind at ease. For me they said it was completely normal, just stretching pains - even though they were really sore!!

Hey. I know how hard it is to relax. I've had 2 earlier miscarriages and every time I get pregnant after I can't help but worry but with my 1st pregnancy with my daughter I got to 15 weeks and was in terrible pain with cramps I was forever ringing the midwife and all it was was my muscles stretching to accommodate the growing person inside me.
Try to relax, but don't feel you are being annoying ringing your midwife or if you have an early pregnancy unit near you. They will put your mind at ease I'm sure xx

Everything is doing so much stretching and growing at this stage that I think cramping is very common, but always worth phoning your nearest EPU for some reassurance.
