Here

As the mum of a 4 year old ds who miscarried in April this year I find this quite interesting.

I had 4 m/cs then a ds. First pg, I could swear was a boy, but we'll never know. Other 3 I had no inclination. My sis had 1 mc which she thought was a boy, then a dd then a ds. My friend is one of 3 girls, her Mum lost 3 babies (unsure of occurrences of mcs and the 3 girls that lived) and they were all boys. I know one lady who has 3 dds and lost one baby, which was a boy and had down's. Do you think it could be realted to the fact that it's usually only males who are haemophiliacs? Not the disease affecting the pg sirectly, I just mean that certain "things" only affect one sex IYSWIM?

I had four m/cs then a dd. Too early to tell the gender on all four, but mine were probably a mix of immune issues and old eggs.

Someone mentioned Aloha...I was off the boards for a couple of months earlier this year, and haven't seen her since I came back...I miss her posts too: can anyone tell me if she's left, if she's ok?? Sorry, off topic I know, just not sure where else to ask.

I had one m/c which I felt was a boy. Then had d/s followed by two m/c. I had an incling that the last two were girls but will never know. I asked my obstetrician if he thought I may not be able to carry girls but he said there was no evidence to suggest that a woman can't carry one sex.
