HELP! ERPC - no bleeding / cramping for 3 days then...Advice please!

I had a MMC at 10 weeks (slight brown spotting the weekend before last so went to EPU on Monday last week which confirmed baby had stopped developing at 6 weeks). Absolutely gutting.

So, to cut a long story short, I had an ERPC (paid for by private medical insurance) on Friday. It went well, i felt ok afterwards and had little or no bleeding/discharge.

Yesterday (Tuesday), I had really bad cramps/back aches on and off. It sort of felt like I had trapped wind/needed to fart and bad period like pains/cramps in my tummy. They've been less bad today so (foolishly) I went for a slow 25min jog at lunchtime. I've just been to the loo as I felt a leak..and i'm bleeding, bright red blood. Seems odd when I've had nothing otherwise. Do I need to worry? Is this normal? Any advice hugely appreciated. At work, so a bit reluctant to call the obs/gynae consultant who did the surgery..

Sorry for your loss, GMTTB Stop-start bleeding is par for the course, if you feel ok in yourself then don't worry. It's your body telling you that you are overdoing it - give the jogging a rest for a few weeks and let yourself recover!

Thanks Bakingtins.
And the crippling cramps/trapped wind/bruised arse feeling?

Uterus shrinking, cervix has been opened up, everything will be a bit bruised? I'm surprised you are back at work TBH, most people seem to be signed off for a minimum of a week and often a fortnight. If you have any concerns then phone the doctor and get yourself checked out, but I think your expectations of being back to normal immediately are a bit unrealistic.
Unpleasant discharge (appearance or smell), high temperature, feeling unwell in yourself would all be reasons to see someone. If you are concerned then do call the ward - that's what they are there for.
Take a bit of time and look after yourself - this calls for duvet days, painkillers, wine and chocolate, not jogging (and I say that as an addicted C25Ker)

Downstairs, I'd be careful! I felt actually good (if emotional) for the 2 days after my ERPC and then have felt knocked sideways the last 36 hours. I've clearly been a prat for going for a run (however slow!) and am suffering now.
